About Me

On Tuesday, January 29, 2019, She 3.0 was born. After quitting my last job because it wasn't the right fit and the one before that because I felt stagnant and the one before that because the pay and hours weren't enough, I was tired of spending my time applying to my "dream" companies in hopes of getting the chance to finally do what I was felt I was meant to do. I wanted the chance to prove myself; prove that I had the perfect combination of skill sets, drive and experience to build a career at a respectable and reputable corporation. Prove to my family that success didn't just mean having a career in the medical field or being a lawyer but email after email, rejection after rejection, employment agency after employment agency, it just wasn't working out.

My last job taught me to shift my mentality to being the person I wanted to become before I became her. To be the boss instead of another employee. To be the driver of my own life and not just a passenger or victim and though I didn't do it their way, the thought lingered with me. A few days before She 3.0 arised, I set out some affirmations for myself in the dawn of a new year with the main one being to become an entrepreneur and to grow influence. I knew I had more to offer. I knew there were too many facets of me to be just a typical beauty guru (no offense to those out there. I respect the grind ! It just wasn't for me). I wanted to build my brand to have a platform to share the three main parts of me- beauty, fashion and lifestyle. Two days later, I asked myself "why not?" and She 3.0 was created.

3 being the number of completion and fulfillment- heaven, earth, and waters; body, soul and spirit, She 3.0 is a place where a girl's life comes full circle. She'll learn about how to feel her best inside and out through acceptance, expression and talking about the hard stuff. To me, the best thing about being female is the endless opportunities to be yourself. I've learned a lot about myself these past eight years and I've grown to be the person I am today and I love her. I hope through She 3.0, I can help girls everywhere feel the same and know that they aren't alone. That you'll always be a work in progress but complete at the same time. That you can be everything you want to be. And more. That it's all about balance and self love and opening yourself up to all the possibilities life has to offer. I hope you're ready for the ride !

Love,

Shantel
